The (Pretend) Soundtrack for Eye in the Blue Box

I’ve been told by several readers that Eye in the Blue Box would be incredibly fun to experience as a visual medium and especially as a film. While I agree, I don’t think there’ll be many Hollywood executives knocking at my door any time soon. Shocking, I know.

So, instead, I have made a pretend soundtrack! Imagination is for those of us who can’t afford the real thing, after all, but I think we can all agree that imagination often proves to be more interesting than reality. 

If you haven’t read the book, this will be a great way to taste-test the story without explicit spoilers.

For those of you who’ve already finished the book (thank you very much for reading! If you'd like to preorder Book 2, by the way, you can find the links here), I think you’ll agree that this is a very fitting musical supplement to the story. Try to guess which songs go with what scenes!

I’ve written an analysis which goes into greater detail as to why I chose the songs that I did for this soundtrack. That post, which will be chock-full of spoilers, will drop next month. I hope you can give the soundtrack a listen (or two!) by then, and hopefully, give the book a read as well.
