I'm glad you found your way to this part of my website! I know this corner of my virtual home looks a bit gloomy at first. EYES OF AWAKENING books are all adult, dark fantasy novels after all.
But remember, darkness can be deceptive.
Some of the best things in life are found in the dark, and once you read my books, you'll find that everything from scarlet roses to friendly, blue wolves to a tree that blossoms eyes can bloom out of that dark, immaterial expanse which we call "imagination."
But enough philosophizing. Back to the books!
Eye in the Blue Box: Book One of Eyes of Awakening will be available for purchase beginning August 30, 2025. Its sequel, Tree of Eyes: Book Two of Eyes of Awakening, which is the story's finale, will be available for preorder on the same date.
Believe it or not, Eye in the Blue Box and Tree of Eyes were originally one, giant book, and I was quite set on selling it as one, giant book so I wouldn't leave my readers on a cliffhanger. But alas, self-publishing printers simply don't support a page count that high. Plus, when I saw how big the book would be, I realized that perhaps I'd be showing my readers mercy by splitting the book into two instead of forcing one gargantuan tome into everyone's arms.
If you enjoyed books like Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, The Neverending Story by Michael Ende, or The Lives of Tao by Wesley Chu, I'm willing to bet you'll like both of my books as well.
If you enjoyed movies like Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Logan, or if you're a fan of mainstream seinen, chances are you'll enjoy my books, especially Tree of Eyes.
Why are you likely to enjoy my works if you liked the titles above? Because my books feature journeys through surreal and dream-like settings, a wide cast of characters, each whom go through their own growth arcs, and a lot of good old-fashioned, blood-splattering action.
